My name is Phuong Ngo, also known as just Yona. I am a Vietnamese-Ukrainian creative technologist and software engineer based in New York City.

Currently, I am a graduate student at New York University, Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP). I am also a speaker and volunteer at Women Who Code Kyiv, teaching artists to express themselves with coding. I spent my undergraduate years at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute", majoring in Computer Science. In July 2019 I also had an opportunity to attend School of Machines in Berlin, where I learned creative machine learning.

When I am not designing or coding another app I can be found making illustrations, playing Chopin or Liszt on piano, or exploring new places in the city.
